Yoon Jun-seo, her companion since childhood, gives his unconditional love and protection to her, ensuring she doesn’t turn into the dark-version of herself. But when he couldn’t stop her, he started questioning whether his actions actually protected her or enabled her. Another person with a dark past is Kim Jae-oh, who later becomes Ah-jin’s shadow. She, trapped in her moral swamps, rises to the top and is in competition with the former idol, Im Re-na. Re-na spots Jun-seo in the entertainment world with Ah-jin and gets close to him. This angle creates more tensions, rivalries, and jealousy among the characters. 

It is expected that if another season premieres, then that will also continue the same plot as season 1, marking the continuation of the series.
