Aryan Khan is the creator and director of the upcoming Netflix series, which is his first significant motion picture project. He is collaborating with writers and co-creators Manav Chauhan and Bilal Siddiqi. Shah Rukh Khan’s production company, Red Chillies Entertainment, is overseeing and funding the project. 

Shah Rukh Khan has acknowledged that he will make a brief appearance in the program. He also alluded to the fact that numerous well-known Bollywood figures have joined the project in cameo roles, responding to a fan during the ‘Ask SRK’ session. Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, Karan Johar, Bobby Deol, and Ranbir Kapoor are reportedly among the celebrities scheduled to make special appearances.

SRK provided a mild but encouraging response when asked to evaluate Aryan’s work. He described the series as “Entertaining, wacky… It’s very good.”

On August 17, 2025, Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan, officially revealed the first look of his much-anticipated directorial debut series, The Bads of Bollywood. Co-produced by his mother, Gauri Khan, under the Red Chillies Entertainment banner in collaboration with Netflix, this project marks a bold and creative step for the young Khan.

In the video, he says, “Bollywood – jisse apne salon se pyar bhi kiya aur vaar bhi kiya main bhi wahi karunga, bohot sara pyar aur thoda sa vaar.”
