CEO Of Twitter, Jack Dorsey Is Stepping Down From His Position

Recent updates about the Twitter office claim that the CEO of the Twitter company that means Jack Dorsey has resigned from his position. On Monday, November 29th, 2021 Jack Dorsey gave his resignation and CTO Parag Agrawal is the one who replaced him as chief executive, immediately. CNBC is the first one who reports about the departure of Dorsey.

Soon after the resignation, Dorsey came to his Twitter account and wrote something. Dorsey says that I have made an opinion of leaving the Twitter company because I believe that the company is all ready to move on from its founders. He adds that my trust in Parag Twitter’s CEO is very much deep. I had worked with the company since 2015 and believe that it’s time for Parag to show now. Jack Dorsay continues by saying that he has been working over the past 10 years and his work has been transformational. I am very much grateful for his skill, heart, and soul. Now is the time for him to lead and I hope that he will perform extraordinarily. Dorsey plans to remain there on Twitter’s board for the next six months so that it would help with the transition before departing the company fully.

Probing further, with the help of an email Dorsey told the Twitter staff that I want you all to know that this was my decision and I own it. Yes, this was a tough time for me as well. I love the company, this service, and all of you too much. I am really sad but happy as well on the other side. There are not many companies that go on this level but yes we have proved. There are not many founders that choose their company over their ego. I know we are going o prove that this was the right decision that we made.

Meanwhile, along with the appointment of CEO, Agrawal has joined Twitter’s board. In addition, the Salesforce president and chief operating officer are now named as independent chair of the board.
