Recent News

The Pakistan Cricket Board is contemplating boycotting its group stage game against India in the T20 World Cup 2026, scheduled on February 15 in Colombo. The chairman of the PCB, Mohsin Naqvi, intends to meet the Pakistan PM, Shehbaz Sharif, to finalize the decision. Naqvi said that the government’s decision will be final.

Naqvi accused the ICC of its double standards in the treatment of Bangladesh, as hybrid arrangements are made in the case of India-Pakistan matches. The same should be made in the case of Bangladesh as a full member. He also warned against a dictatorship being imposed on other countries. The PCB wants the boycott to appear as an order of the government to escape the ICC sanctions. This would result in losing only the India match and not the whole tournament.

Conclusion

It is not really a game, but it is an emotion for the players for their country. After more than 200 epic battles, India has an advantage in the whole game, but Pakistan has snatched away some of the championships. The cricketers are never tired of winning more and more matches in the upcoming years if played.
