Coming up on the six months after the release, we are not having any official information that The Chair is returning for a Season 2. However, our gut feeling is that the show won’t be returning for a Season 2 because of the poor performance.

All thanks to reports of top 10 hourly data, we have come to know that the performance on the platform and things aren’t particularly pretty. This is the series that is only featured in the hourly global top 10s that too for a single week only. The series aired on August 20th but didn’t feature in the first week period. This means that the series is not there in the feature period between August 16th and August 22nd, to be there on the top it needed over 10.43M hours of views.

Talking about Week 2, the series climbed to rank 4 having around 14.02 million hours viewed on the platform. In Week 3 as well, the series fell out of the top 10 as it needed 9.14 million hours to beat out CoComelon. Therefore, this means that in Week 2 and 3 the series faced around 35% drop off in viewers. However, there is no official information yet but we can only assume that the series won’t be returning for a Season 2.
