Johnny Depp to Make an Appearance in Rihanna’s ‘Savage X Fenty Vol. 4’

For the first time, a male celebrity talent is going to be featured in the lead role in Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty fashion show series. The show is set to fall on Amazon Prime Video on 9 November.

Rihanna and Johnny have one thing in common, which might be the reason for Johnny’s appearance in the Show. Johnny Depp was accused of domestic violence by his ex-wife Amber. Similarly, Rihanna has been a victim of domestic abuse by her boyfriend.

The trial between Depp and Amber Heard was highly publicised. In the trial, Amber was found guilty of defaming Depp. The trail was followed by his post, published in The Washington Post, in which she claimed to be a domestic abuse survivor.

Similarly, Chris Brown, ex-boyfriend of Rihanna was found guilty of domestic assault. A photograph was released in 2009 following a violent squabble between them that revealed the beauty entrepreneur and singer is a domestic abuse survivor.

After the conclusion of Depp’s trial, he attended MTV Video Music Award and musician Jeff Beck’s concerts several times. He is going to direct the film on Italian artist Amedo Modigliani, produced by Al Pacino and Barry Navidi. Also, he is going to appear in a film about King Louis XV and his mistress, by French filmmaker Maïwenn. Many fans are criticising the cast on Twitter saying it seems like a “Rehabilitation” for Depp’s reputation.

In the past volume of Savage X Fenty, Cindy Crawford and Erykah Badu had made their appearance. For this year, participants are Winston Duke, Taylour Paige, Damson Idris, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Irina Shayk, Simu Liu, Taraji P. Henson, Cara Delevingne, Marsai Martin, and Rihanna herself. Anitta, Burna Boy, Don Toliver, and Maxwell will be the performers.

Recently, Rihanna made her return to music after six years with “Lift Me Up”, the soundtrack made for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. She is also going to be a half-time performer for Super Bowl LVII 2023.
