Kinshuk Vaidya: TV’s Sanju from Shaka Laka Boom Boom

Kinshuk Vaidya is an Indian actor who primarily works in the Hindi entertainment industry. He came into the limelight after appearing in the TV show Shaka Laka Boom Boom, wherein he played Sanju.

Kinshuk Vaidya was born on 5 April 1991 (age 34 years; as of 2025) in Mumbai. He did his schooling from Mumbai’s Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Vidyalaya. Inclined towards acting since childhood, Kinshuk often participated in several cultural functions in his school. Soon after completing his higher secondary education, he pursued a Bachelor of Mass Media from Usha Pravin Gandhi College of Management, Mumbai.

Family

Kinshuk belongs to a middle-class family. Brought up in a Hindu family, his father, Nitin Vaidya, is a general manager at Hotel Host-Inn. While his mother, Medha Vaidya, is a homemaker.

Career

  • In 1999, when he was eight, Kinshuk made his acting debut as a child artist in the Marathi film, Dhangad Dhinga.
  • In 2000, he made his Bollywood debut with the Hindi film Raju Chacha. In the film, he starred alongside Ajay Devgn, Kajol, Rishi Kapoor, and Sanjay Dutt.
  • In 2002 he made his Hindi television debut with the TV show Shaka Laka Boom Boom, wherein he played the lead role of Sanju.
  • Soon after Shaka Laka Boom Boom, Kinshuk took a sabbatical from acting. Later, he made his comeback with Ek Rishta Saajhedari Ka. He played Aryan Diwakar Sethia in the show.
  • Subsequently, in 2018, he played Arjun in the historical TV show Karn Sangini.

Personal Life

In 2016, Kinshuk Vaidya started dating the famous TV actress, Shivya Pathania. Media sources suggested that the couple shared a great bond. However, in 2021, the ex-couple parted ways while still being friends.
