Orhan Awatramani, aka Orry, usually attends parties of Bollywood celebrities. He is best friends with Janhvi Kapoor, Nysa Devgan, Sara Ali Khan, and Ananya Panday. He recently posed with Rihanna at Anant Ambani’s pre-wedding celebrations in Jamnagar.

In an interview with Forbes India, Orry revealed about getting paid for attending events and how he brings ”joy” to people by attending their events. He said, “For now, my focus is to spread the message of happiness. It resonates with people, keeps me going, and allows me to attend events that bring joy to others and myself. These appearances are currently my primary source of income.”

Orry is famous for calling himself a ”liver.” He stated that people want him to attend their parties as a friend and not as a guest.

People call me to weddings, and they are happy to pay me anywhere between ₹15 lakh- ₹30 lakhs. They want me to attend not as a guest but as a friend, maybe to the groom or someone else. So, my actual audience keeps me afloat because they want me there at their events.

Orry also described his unique merchandise, which includes limited-edition T-shirts featuring his emojis, key chains, bag tags, and stickers, now intended primarily for gifting.

Speaking about the popularity of his merchandise, Orry shared a story from Christmas 2023. After giving out some of his branded merchandise, his staff received calls from people in Delhi and Haryana. Some wanted to order as many as 300 hampers for gifting. He added that, although he has received several requests to sell these items, for now, they are simply a way to show appreciation.
