• Pawan was fond of singing and acting from childhood; he worked on a Bhojpuri-language pop album as a vocalist. In 1997, he launched his first music album, ‘Odhaniya Wali’. Later, in 2004, he made his acting debut with the film ‘Rangli Chunariya Tohre Naam’.
• In 2008, he released his music album, ‘Lolly Pop Lageli’, which was a massive hit and provided him with recognition and fame in the industry. He also released an album later that same year, ‘Don’t Touch My Body’.

Pawan Singh joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in 2014 in the presence of BJP Bihar state unit chief Nityanand Rai and Bihar in-charge Bhupendra Yadav. In 2024, he got the ticket to contest the elections from Asansol, but he denied the offer and contested the election from Karakat Lok Sabha Constituency, but lost the election from Raja Ram Singh (CPI).

• Pawan Singh’s wife, Jyoti Singh, filed a complaint against him, alleging that he mentally harassed her and forced her to abort her two pregnancies, as well as instigating her to commit suicide.

• In January 2023, Yamini Singh, a Bhojpuri actress, accused him of misbehaving on set and asking her to compromise. Later, she took to Instagram and clarified that the media misunderstood her work and were exaggerating. Also, she stated that she was talking about the crew who misbehaved with her. She said, “I had talked about leaving the film ‘Boss’ in the interview. I did not say anything like a compromise. They have presented my statement in the wrong way. I had said that some staff of that film misbehaved with me. I did not take his (Pawan Singh) name. They called me at 9 at night and told me to catch an auto and come to the shoot. I did not like this behavior, and I left that film myself.”
