Ravneet was born in Kotli, District Ludhiana, Punjab, on September 10, 1975. He was born in a family of politicians. His grandfather was a former Punjab Chief Minister, Beant Singh. Ravneet has done his education from Guru Nanak Public School in BCA. Coming from the Congress party background, he also started his political career. As of now, he is serving as an MP of the Rajya Sabha representing Rajasthan. Ravneet is an active member of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
