Anahat Singh is an Indian squash player who has been one of the most promising young talents of the game. She was inspired to take up squash by badminton ace P. V. Sindhu when she joined Sindhu for the tournaments and started to win junior-level squash tournaments around the world. In 2026, Singh became the first Indian to win the World Junior Championship, breaking into the top 20 and taking over the world junior No. 1 ranking in 2010. She has also won a number of Asian junior medals, Asian Games bronze medals, and assisted India.
Sreeja Akula is an Indian Table Tennis player hailing from Hyderabad and is one of the most prominent women Table Tennis players in India. She is a two-time national champion and has won gold at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Mixed Doubles. With Sharath Kamal and received the Arjuna Award in 2022 as well. She is a several-time WTT champion and Asian Championships medalist.
Shaili Singh is an Indian long jumper from Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, and is considered to be one of the top prospects in Indian track and field events. She grew up with her mother; at the age of 14. She went to Bengaluru and trained at the Anju Bobby George Sports Foundation. Singh is the Indian U20 long jump record holder from 2023 with a distance of 6.76 m. She won a silver medal at the World U20 Championships 2021 in Nairobi. Additionally, she won two medals at the Asian Championships and a fifth at the Asian Games 2023.

Jyothi Yarraji is an Indian track and field athlete from the town of Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, who is an expert in the 100 m hurdles. She is a two-time Asian champion with a gold medal in the event at the Asian Championships in 2023 and 2025, and the holder of the Indian national record. Representing India at the 2024 Paris Olympics, Yarraji is the first Indian woman to take on the 100 m hurdles at the Olympics and a silver medalist from the 2022 Asian Games. She has won the Arjuna Award and is coached by British trainer James Hillier at the Reliance Athletics High-Performance Centre in Bhubaneswar.
Divya Deshmukh is an Indian chess grandmaster from Nagpur, Maharashtra, who is one of the top young chess players in India. She was born on 9th December 2005 and entered the world of success at an early age; in 2013, she became a National Under-9 Championship Girl. Later on, she was a National Women’s Chess Champion and Asian Continental Women’s Chess Champion. She is the World U20 Chess Champion of 2024 and also won the gold for India in the Women’s Chess Olympiad of 2024, as well as an individual gold medal. Her weakest year was in 2025, when she came up short in the Women’s Chess World Cup tournament. Her best year was when she won the Women’s Chess World Cup tournament in 2025 to qualify for the Women’s Candidates Tournament in 2026, earning the Grandmaster title.
Vaishali Rameshbabu is an Indian grandmaster of chess. She was the winner of the 2026 FIDE Women’s Candidates Tournament to qualify for the Women’s World Championship 2026 in a matchup against Ju Wenjun. She is a two-time FIDE Women’s Grand Swiss (2023, 2025) and the third Indian woman Grandmaster, the first from Tamil Nadu. Vaishali has claimed team gold at the Chess Olympiad 2024, a bronze at the World Blitz Championship 2024, and several Asian and national medals. She and her brother R. Praggnanandhaa are the first sibling duo to both be grandmasters.
Jyothi Surekha Vennam belongs to Challapalli, Andhra Pradesh, India, and is a compound archer. A decorated top archer in the country, she has claimed medals in the World Championships, Asian Games, World Cup, Asian Championships, and has won three gold medals in the Asian Games 2022. In 2025, she and Rishabh Yadav set the mixed team world record with a score of 1431 at the World Cup. Surekha is a recipient of the Arjuna Award (2017) and is a strong contender to win medals in the Olympics for India in compound archery, which is a new sport that will be introduced in the 2028 Los Angeles Games.
Esha Singh is a sport shooter from Hyderabad, India, who is a specialist in pistol shooting. At the age of 13, she was the youngest senior national champion and has won more than 40 international medals, including Asian Games gold and silver medals in 2022. She is a 2026 ISSF World Cup gold medal winner in Munich and has also been the gold medal winner at the 2023 World Cup in Warsaw, where she also broke the junior and senior world records for her pistol event. Esha Singh is a two-time Asian champion at 10 m air pistol (2024, 2026), and has also been selected as India’s representative for the 2024 Paris Olympics. She was also awarded the Arjuna Award in 2023 for her remarkable performance in the sport of shooting.
