On August 12, Vivo announced a new variant of the V series in India, V60 5G. This is the liked phone of Vivo after the V50 phone. The sale of this model will start on 19 August 2025 and can be purchased from ecommerce sites like, Amazon, Flipkart, Vivo’s Official website or you can contact your nearest store for the same.
The Vivo V60 comes in four models.
The phone has a 6.77-inch curved AMOLED display. It looks premium and feels smooth when you scroll. The display comes with 5,000 nits of brightness. Even in strong sunlight, the screen will be clear.
It has IP68 and IP69 protection, which makes it safer to use in rain, dust, and water splashes. The refresh rate is 120Hz, which is good for playing games without lagging.
The rear side has three cameras with ZEISS lenses.
There are special camera modes like Wedding vLog, AI portrait, and AI object removal. You can click photos and share them directly without much editing.
The Vivo V60 comes with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, offers up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, runs on Android 15 with Funtouch OS 15, and will receive 4 years of software updates along with 6 years of security patches.
So even after a few years, your phone will still feel updated.
The battery is 6,500mAh. It supports 90W fast charging. The battery will easily last a full day. Even a short charge will give you hours of usage.
The charger is in the box, which is nice to see. Many brands have stopped giving chargers.
There are 3 options available for the all new Vivo V60 model: Auspicious Gold, Moonlit Blue, and Mist Grey. Here is how it compares to the OPPO Reno 14, which was launched on 3 July.
