KGF Fame Yash To Co-produce Ramayana

KGF star Yash will now co-produce one of the most-awaited films, ‘Ramayana’, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi. The makers plan to release the movie in late 2025.

As per the reports, Yash is to play Ravana in the film and would charge around Rs 80 crores for ‘Ramayana,’ but instead of charging, he chose to produce the film. Nitesh Tiwari directs, and Madhu Mantena produces the film. 

Apart from Ranbir Kapoor portraying Lord Ram and Sai Pallavi playing Sita, there are speculations that Sunny Deol will play the role of Lord Hanuman in the film. Bobby Deol and Vijay Sethupathi might play Kumbhakaran and Ravana’s younger brother, Vibhishan, respectively. 

The film has gained hype after actor Ranbir Kapoor’s trainer, Nam shared a clip of his intense workout and preparation for his upcoming film. The audience went wild over the video, eagerly waiting to see the portrayal of Lord Ram by Ranbir. Fans spotted Alia Bhatt and her daughter Raha in the video that surfaced on the internet.

The makers or the stars have not yet officially confirmed the information. Reports say that, due to leaked images of character outfits, phones are now banned on the sets of ‘Ramayana.’ Ranbir Kapoor has restricted himself from consuming alcohol and meat to personify Lord Ram’s character in the film. 

Ranbir Kapoor last appeared in Animal, which entered the Rs 100 crore club and became a box office hit. The sequel to the movie is already in the actor’s kitty. Sai Pallavi has wrapped up her shoot with Aamir Khan’s son, Junaid Khan. It is Junaid’s first film and is titled ‘Ek Din.’ The filmmakers shot the movie in Japan and Mumbai. Aamir Khan Productions is producing ‘Ek Din’.
