Amitabh Bachchan Honoured With Mangeshkar Award

Amitabh Bachchan returned to the sets of Kaun Banega Crorepati and started shooting for the show. On Tuesday, the actor shared the blog photos from the sets of KBC 16. He shared the details of his first day of the shoot.

The actor shared a picture in which he is dressed in casual attire. He revealed that he did not get his traditional break and had his lunch in his car.

Earlier, Sony TV announced that the actor would return as the show host due to the high demand. The makers released a promo that began with a clip of the 15th season that stated, the actor wouldn’t return to the show as a host. It ended with a voiceover, “Har aarambh ka ant taye hai magar apnon ke pyar mein jo anand hai.. to har ant ke baad shubharambh nishchit hai..”

The organizers honored Megastar Amitabh Bachchan with the Lata Deenanath Mangeshkar Award, introduced in memory of the Nightingale of India, Lata Mangeshkar. Amitabh Bachchan received the recognition on April 24, observed as the memorial day of Deenanath Mangeshkar, the theatre-music veteran and father of the Mangeshkar siblings.
