The dark Indian crime thriller series, Andhera season 2, is expected to come back to send the audience back into the depths of the realm of darkness. Following the climax of season 1, this second season may begin on a higher note, having to fight with brutal new enemies and cracking open family secrets, which can break it all up. The first season was out on August 14, 2025. After its success, there is confusion about the release date of another season. But till now, there is no information available about the release of Andhera season 2.
Andhera is set in Mumbai and shows the case of the disappearance of a young woman. This brings together Inspector Kalpana Kadam (Priya Bapat) and medical student Jay Sheth (Karanvir Malhotra). The story builds up through scenes of Jay and an experiment conducted by the Pharma CEO Madhu Uberoi, who has been mercilessly testing on human suffering. The season uncovers a larger conspiracy involving a mysterious science. The first season of the series has an excellent supporting cast and a good storyline, making the fans expect Andhera season 2.

Raaghav Dar is the director of the series. He is a well-known director and Indian writer. His most popular work includes the Netflix documentary Mumbai Mafia: Police vs The Underworld. Raaghav’s other iconic work includes My Friend Pinto and Andhera. My Friend Pinto is a musical comedy film. It shows Michael Pinto, who was born in a small village. After his mother’s death, he travelled to find his childhood friend, and the story continues with lots of adventure, comedy scenes, and drama.
Till now, there is no official release for the Adhera season 2 trailer. Keep an eye on Prime Video’s socials for teasers, cast announcements, or plot hints soon. The trailer of the previous season was released a few days before its premiere date. I think we can expect the same trailer release for this season whenever it is released.
