Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli announced the birth of their second child with an Instagram post on Tuesday. Would you like it to sound more emotional or formal?

The couple has revealed the name of their baby boy, Akaay; however, they have not yet shared a photo of their child. Notably, Virat and Anushka welcomed their daughter Vamika in January 2021 after tying the knot in 2017. During her first pregnancy, Anushka announced on Instagram that they were expecting. Not only this, she also regularly posted photos of her baby bump on social media.

However, while expecting Akaay, the couple did not reveal anything or share any posts on social media. Anushka avoided public appearances, while the baby’s father missed the first three matches against England. While he was expected to play the last three games, he has not yet joined the team and might miss the remaining two matches as well. According to a few reports, the couple gave birth to their second child in London; however, neither of them has confirmed the same.

Earlier, AB De Villiers, a former RCB player and close friend of Virat Kohli, confirmed that the couple was expecting. This led to social media flooding with comments on Anushka’s pregnancy; however, the couple only confirmed it yesterday. Well-wishes for the newborn from all over the world have surfaced on social media. Many Bollywood actors, including Sonam Kapoor, Rakulpreet Singh, and Ranveer Singh, congratulated Virat and Anushka.
