Overview of Previous Seasons
Dark Winds is set in the 1970s in the American Southwest, which is located on the Navajo Nation. Lieutenant Joe Leaphorn of the Navajo Tribal Police investigates a series of seemingly unrelated crimes. A band of robbers in a helicopter robs an armored truck, killing two guards, in Gallup, New Mexico, and the helicopter crashes during the robbery on the reservation. Hosteen Tso, an older man, witnessed this. He is found dead in a motel room with Anna Atcitty.
Jim Chee, a covert FBI agent who was seeded into the town to investigate the radical Buffalo Society group. As he digs deeper, Leaphorn uncovers ties between the truck robbery, the murders, the land grabs around a mine, and his own troubled past. Sergeant Bernadette Manuelito teams up with the two men as they battle evil forces, confront one another, and overcome their own inner demons to save the pregnant teenager Sally Growing Thunder and bring justice to the reservation.

What is the Release Date of Dark Winds Season 5?
Dark Winds season 5 release is officially confirmed by AMC sometime in 2027. The exact release date has not out yet. The first season was out on 12 June 2022, the second season on 30 July 2023, the third on 9 March 2025, and forth in 15 February 2026. Some of the rumors say that season 5 may get out in 2026.
