Kartik Aaryan To Play Don Hussain Ustara In “Arjun Ustara”

The Indian filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj is all set to begin the shoot of his upcoming project “Arjun Ustara,” as he has found the leading male for his movie. Vishal confirmed Kartik Aaryan to play the role of Don Hussain Ustara in the movie.

On Monday, Rahul Raut, the film journalist, took to social media and wrote, “CONFIRMED!! #KartikAaryan and #VishalBhardwaj collaborate for a gritty thriller, produced by #SajidNadiadwala…Kartik to play #HussainUstara, a fearless don who stood against the underworld’s kingpin #DawoodIbrahim.”

Earlier, the makers titled the movie ‘Sapna Didi’ and planned to begin the project before the COVID-19 pandemic, but had to delay it. Irrfan Khan was supposed to play the male lead, but they had to replace him after his passing. The filmmakers expect to release the film in September 2024.

“Arjun Ustara” delivers action and intense drama. The makers have reworked the old script to match Kartik Aaryan’s image and stardom. Vishal and Sajid are still searching for the film’s leading lady and haven’t finalized the casting yet. This movie is the first collaboration between Kartik and Vishal. The budget for the film is 150 crore, and it will be shot in Spain and Greece.

Sajid Nadiadwala met the representatives of the government of Spain and made a mutual agreement that the government of Spain would grant them permission and the maker would help boost the tourism of the country. 

Kartik Aaryan has an interesting lineup of movies, including Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, Chandu Champion, and Aashiqui 3. The actor has wrapped up the first schedule of Anees Bazmee’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and has begun the second. This film also stars Vidya Balan and Triptii Dimri in pivotal roles. Akshay Kumar is not returning to this franchise.
