From what I have seen, I’m going to expect a lot of “good movie, but bad Resident Evil movie” takes once it comes out.
I get what the director said about it not being about an established character. Too many restrictions and chances to upset fans if they get it wrong.
Zach Cregger makes good films. I think his combination of comedy and horror will translate well.
