Samsung Galaxy AI Features Coming to S23, Fold & Tablets

Samsung has announced plans to introduce its Galaxy AI features to older models and previous generations. This feature was recently introduced in the Samsung Galaxy S24 series, but now, with an update, users can install it on their older smartphones and tablets as well. This includes the Galaxy S23 FE, Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5, and Tab S9 series, which will receive the Galaxy AI features with the One UI 6.1 update. This update will be available for users to install by the end of March 2024.

This update will enhance the experience of Galaxy users with AI by combining on-device and cloud-based AI approaches.

Our goal with Galaxy AI is not only to pioneer a new era of mobile AI but also to empower users by making AI more accessible. This is only the beginning of Galaxy AI, as we plan to bring the experience to over 100 million Galaxy users by 2024 and continue to innovate ways to harness the unlimited possibilities of mobile AI

The UI 6.1 Galaxy update will be available at no cost, but after 2025, there might be charges for the subscription to this update. The update will allow its users to translate messages in 13 languages, get chat assistance, and do real-time text translation during phone calls with Live Translate and Interpreter for on-screen text translation while face-to-face communication.

Generative photo and video editing and circle search by Google will also come with the update, similar to the Samsung Galaxy S24 series. These features will allow its users to edit pictures and also get suggestions for ease and flexibility.
