Undekhi, the crime-thriller Hindi-language web television series, premiered on Sony LIV on July 10, 2020 and came out as one of the hit series on the OTT. With its two seasons, Undekhi was able to garner millions of viewers while constantly ranking in the top-10 list of Sony LIV series. Meanwhile, soon after Undekhi Season 2 made its premiere on the OTT channel in March 2022, fans started anticipating the early release of Undekhi Season 3. Fortunately, Undekhi Season 3 received an early renewal and was announced by the lead actress, Anchal Singh, who played Teji Grewal Atwal, in the series. Meanwhile, the announcement came less than a year after Undekhi Season 2 premiered in January 2023. Anchal said, “It will come. Right now, they are working on its scripting. Its shoot was supposed to happen, but we were told that they needed to work more on the script to make it more interesting. So, there is a little delay. But season three will happen.”
Despite an early renewal for Season 3 of Undekhi, there has been no such announcement regarding its debut on OTT platforms. Nevertheless, according to a media house, Undekhi Season 3 is slated to release in March 2024. However, neither the OTT platform, Sony LIV, nor the series creators have announced the same.
Besides, according to an Outlook article, the shooting for the third season of Undekhi was initiated in August 2023. Hence, that means it is likely to receive a premiere by the summer of 2024. Nevertheless, fans have to wait a while for an announcement.
This series has highlighted the differences between the power-drunk, influential people of society and the depressed classes that struggle with every aspect of society. While Season Two of Undekhi unfolds a new wedding and concludes with Atwal’s having each other’s backs, we can expect to see more of Atwals in Season 3. Meanwhile, it is expected that the third season will introduce more goons and unfold an unexpected revelation about Atwal.
