One of the most popular OTT Hindi-language series, Delhi Crime, a crime drama streaming television show, won accolades in several International film festivals. Premiered in March 2019, the first season of Delhi Crime showcased the 2012 Delhi Rape Case and the aftermath of the incident. Following the massive success of the crime series, three years later, the show was renewed for a second season and featured the real story of high-profile murders in Delhi. Adding up the excitement, Delhi Crime Season 3 has already been renewed for a third season. The lead actress, Shefali Shah who portrayed Vartika Chaturvedi IPS, confirmed the news in a media interview. 

Talking about the same, Vartika said, “Going into Season 3 I’m nervous, I’m anxious. I did Season 1 and didn’t expect Vartika to become this hero that people are looking up to, and then came Season 2. I was terrified because I was like, how am I gonna fill the shoes?”

When is Delhi Crime Season 3 Coming Out?

Besides a renewal announcement for the series, This series release dates are yet to be announced.

Shefali Shah, during a media interview with India Today, revealed that the filming for the third season of Delhi Crime will begin in 2024. The show is expected to premiere on an OTT platform by the end of that year. However, there might be delays in wrap-up and the release dates can shift to next year, in 2025.

Similarly, Delhi Crime Season 2, showcased another chilling Delhi criminal case, the Kachcha Baniyan Gang, which followed a series of high-profile murders. Hence, in the third season of Delhi Crime, we will anticipate a similar brain-chilling crime incident.

Owing to no progress in Delhi Crime Season 3, there is no trailer for the violation-related Hindi-language series. However, since the shooting is scheduled for the beginning of 2024, we can expect to get a trailer by the third half of this year.
