After watching the debut season of ‘Wednesday’, the fans are eagerly waiting to see what happens next. The show was one of the most awaited Netflix shows of 2022 and it was well worth the wait. The series has crossed 1 billion watch hours which means that the series is surely going to be renewed for season 2.
Wednesday has proven itself to be one of the most successful original shows on Netflix by exceeding all expectations. Some rumors are suggesting that Netflix has given the green light for Wednesday season 2, but it is yet to be officially announced.
In week 1 (just 5 days), the series skyrocketed to number 1 by scoring 341.2 million watch hours. With a 20.5% increase in week 2, the number jumped to 411.2 million hours. Week 3 also witnessed an impressive success with 269.6 million watch hours crossing 1 billion hours in total.
Wednesday has a negative attitude toward social media. Xavier brings her a new phone and a stalker has already succeeded in sending her a message.
Tyler transformed into Hyde and killed all the guards before the authorities transported him to the maximum security prison. Without a master, will Tyler be more dangerous?
The death of Larissa Weems left Nevermore Academy without a principal. With an extremely limited choice of candidates, it will be interesting to see who will be the next principal. Morticia Addams, mother of Wednesday can be an obvious choice. Being a former student of Nevermore and a member of Nightshades she is the most competent candidate.
Laurel, Tyler’s master, resurrected Jeremiah Crackstone but Wednesday defeated her. She has been manipulating teenagers to transform them into Hyde.
Pugsley and Wednesday attended the same high school. If the school offers Morticia the principal’s position, the whole family will move to one place. Pugsley might join Nevermore.
Jenna Ortega will continue as Wednesday Addams. She will be joined by Catherine Zeta-Jones and Issac Ordonez as Morticia Addams and Pugsley Addams respectively. Hunter Doohan as Tyler Galpin is returning to reprise his role among other important characters.
Tim Burton, director, and producer of the first season might return.
