Hollywood’s Comeback: Writers Return, Shows Resume Production

The Hollywood writers’ strike, involving over 11,000 members, officially ended after a tentative deal was reached with the remaining holdouts, who were known for resisting the previous proposed terms.

Meanwhile, the strike had a vigorous impact on Hollywood and the related entertainment industry, with several productions either put on hold or delayed for several months.

Moreover, the Writers Guild of America approved the agreement made with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers.

However, months after the strike, Signs of recovery indicate that writers will continue working and will continue to create the content that we all enjoy. Meanwhile With the strike now over, the following series have resumed production,

Star Trek

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is back to work. Chris Fisher, the director of the series, confirmed that production on Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 3 would begin immediately after the strike ended. Meanwhile, he also revealed that the storyboard for the entire first episode is ready.

Abbott Elementary

Following the success of Abbott Elementary’s second season, the creators began working on a third season. However, production was delayed due to the Writers Guild of America strike.

Wednesday

The popular Netflix series, Wednesday, garnered enough appreciation across the globe. A highly anticipated season 2 was approved for making. However, it faced delays owing to the strike. The show’s creators are now collaborating with writers to develop the new season.

Stranger Things

Owing to the strike, viewers’ favourite Stranger Things series was halted. Fortunately, after the strike ended, the series-production work was continued by the creators.

Along with them, there are many series that have been continued including The Batman Sequel, Gladiator, Mission Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two, and Deadpool 3.
