The movie is inspired by true events and showcases a chapter of India’s fight for independence. Sara Ali Khan is playing the biopic of Usha Mehta, who spoke for India and stated that India does not require the intervention of Britishers and is capable of running itself. Usha Mehta boosted the movement with the help of radio.

The trailer takes us to the pre-independence era and introduces us to a 22-year-old woman, Usha. She is a girl from Bombay who studies in college and helps the nation get its freedom through an underground radio station that supports the Quit India Movement. The trailer showcases the courage, sacrifices and resourcefulness of the youth of the nation during India’s fight for independence.
