Boney Kapoor announced the sequel to the movie No Entry, which was released almost 20 years ago. No Entry 2 will star Diljeet Dosanjh, Arjun Kapoor and Varun Dhawan. The original movie starred Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Lara Dutta, Fardeen Khan, Bipasha Basu, Esha Deol and Celina Jaitly.

Boney Kapoor revealed that Anil Kapoor wanted to be part of the sequel too, but unfortunately, it didn’t have much space. Boney further stated that Anil Kapoor is not even talking to him, as he badly wanted to be in the film.

In an interview with The Indian Express, the producer explained the reason behind the cast of the film and said, “Varun and Arjun are great friends. Their chemistry could come out in the story, and Diljit is massive today. He has a great fan following. I wanted to make it relevant in today’s time. That’s why I did this casting.”

The movie ‘No Entry’ will complete 20 years in 2025. The concept of the movie wasn’t revealed by Boney Kapoor, as he was scared of it getting plagiarised. There are possibilities that the audience will get to see the double roles of Varun, Diljit and Arjun in the movie.

The shooting for the film will begin in December 2024, and it will have a big theatrical release in 2025.

The producer, Boney Kapoor, is busy setting up for his upcoming film ‘Maidaan’ starring Ajay Devgn. Amit Ravindernath Sharma directs the movie, which is a biopic based on the life of Syed Abdul Rahim. The film is set to mark its release on April 10. Boney Kapoor expressed his happiness as the film faced a lot of obstacles and delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

He revealed how the film got delayed for three and a half years as it required players and technicians from different parts of the world. Whenever they shot a match for the film for eight to ten days, there would be a lockdown. This happened three times while shooting for the film.
