Poonam Pandey Passes Away at 34 from Cervical Cancer

Indian model and erotic actress, Poonam Pandey, tragically passed away after battling cervical cancer. She was 34.

The actress died on Friday morning, 2 February 2024 after spending a few months in her hometown in Uttar Pradesh. Her manager confirmed the news of her death in a post on her Instagram page.

This morning is a tough one for us. I am deeply saddened to inform you that we have lost our beloved Poonam to cervical cancer. Every living form that ever came in contact with her was met with pure love and kindness. In this time of grief, we would request privacy while we remember her fondly for all that we shared (sic).

The manager added that Poonam Pandey fought courageously for her life. However, since the cancer was in the later stage, it almost turned incurable.

Pandey’s manager, Parul Chawla, claimed in a media interaction that “She got detected with cancer sometime back, and it was in the latter stages. She was in her hometown in Uttar Pradesh, and the funeral will mostly happen there.”

Poonam Pandey, who made her acting debut with the 2013 film ‘Nasha’ had often made headlines for her unusual publicity stunts.

In 2022, she regained her limelight by participating in the reality TV show, Lock Upp. Recalling one of the emotional moments from the show where her mother appeared on the set for a meetup with her daughter, the clip instantly went viral on social media. In the video, her mother told other contestants, “Ye beti nahi beta hai mera. Ye ladki mereko bahut sukh di beta jeevan mein. Ye ladki har khushi poori ki hai. Zindagi mein aisa koi cheez nahi tha jo ye ladki ne humein di nahi hai. Rom rom se dua nikalta hai iske liye.”

Poonam Pandey used to regularly update her followers with her fitness, fashion, and erotic pictures. She has over 1.3 million followers on Instagram.
