Romantic Killer, a humorous, serious comedy anime based on the dating simulation genre, undoubtedly came to an abrupt end. Since the series fully utilizes the source material, can we expect a second season? Well, if the series can continue itself, then there is hope for season 2.
Romantic Killer, adapted from the award-winning manga comics of the same name is a Japanese Netflix Original romantic comedy anime series. Kazuya Ichikawa directs the series.
Plot of Romantic Killer
Anzu Hoshino, the lead character, loves to play video games so much that all she wants to do the whole day is play video games. One day, a wizard from a magical world appears and transports Anzu to a world of hot guys.
High schooler Anzu was having a good life playing video games every day, eating lots of snacks, and petting her cat. But now she finds herself stuck in a magical world filled with hot guys, no video games, and separated from her beloved cat.
To return to her normal life, she must play the dating game before she passes high school otherwise she will be permanently stuck here.
Same as the manga, the anime left us on a cliffhanger revealing that all three favorite things of Anzu, video games, chocolate, and her cat are returned to her temporarily. She must win the game to return to her original life.

Renewal status of Romantic Killer
There is no update from the production house yet. The series covers all 38 chapters of the manga. The next season must continue by itself.
We will have to wait for any confirmation from Netflix.
