Mahaakshay Chakraborty was born on 30 July 1984 in Mumbai to the legendary actor Mithun and Yogeeta Bali.
He debuted in the entertainment industry in 2008 with the film Jimmy. He played the role of ‘Mimoh’, a DJ who was falsely accused of murder following his ingress into the crime world. The film was directed by Raj N Sippy and featured Shakti Kapoor, Rahul Dev, and Vivana Singh. The film received negative reviews from critics and audiences discarded it resulting in the declaration of a box-office disaster.
In 2011, his film Haunted-3D, was successful all hail to the special effects. In the next film, Loot, he co-starred with Govinda, Suniel Shetty, and Jaaved Jaffrey. In 2013, he was featured in Rocky and Enemmy, and in 2015, in Ishqedarriyaan, all three were box-office disasters.
In 2021, he appeared as Shivpal Singh Yadav in a biopic of Indian politician Mulayam Singh Yadav named ‘Main Mulayam Singh Yadav’.
