She was born on 18 December 2005 in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. Her father, Narendra Sharma, works as a government employee. Her elder brother is known to be an engineer. At the age of five, she started her training for a cricket career.

Also, G Kamalini was replaced by Uma Chetry because of her shoulder injury. 

Smriti Mandhana, the vice captain of the team, was born in Mumbai on 18 July 1996. She is one of the star female cricketers of India.
