On Tuesday, 16 January 2024, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Kochi for a two-day visit. Meanwhile, it was only two weeks after he visited the state.
Meanwhile, as per the schedule, Narendra Modi will attend a roadshow from Maharaja’s College Ground to the Guest House, covering 1.3 km. The roadshow is slated to start at 5 PM.
Following, Narendra Modi will also visit two major temples in Thrissur district which includes Guruvayur Shree Krishna Temple and Triparyar Sre Rama Swami Temple, state BJP President K Surendran said. In addition, a regional holiday has been declared for educational institutions, including professional colleges in Thrissur, due to the PM’s visit.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday Morning, he has planned to travel Guruvayur, where he will offer prayers at the Famous Lord Krishna Temple and attend the wedding of actor-turned-politician Suresh Gopi’s marriage. In addition, he will offer prayers at Triprayaar Sree Rama Swami temple in Thrissur on Wednesday.
After the wedding and visit, Narendra Modi will return to Kochi to attend an important meeting with approximately 6,000 Shakti Kendra in-charges.
Meanwhile, Surendra, in a media interaction, said that the attendees of the meeting and Kochi people were excited about Modi’s visit. Earlier, in the same month, PM Modi led the inauguration of various projects worth INR 1,150 crores in the Union Territory of Lakshwadeep. Following, he led a women’s convention organised by the BJP in Thrissur.
